Commencement of Academic Session postponed from 1st August to 1st October from 2016-17 onwards

This move will affect the admissions for the Nursing Programme as students will be of empty minds for 3 to 4 month.These time they will think of option of other opportunities than Nursing thus it should be extended by 0ne month maximum to September Ramling B Mali

as far admission concerns it should b restricted by September only ,longer waiting period after HSC result, may affect the choice to joining in nursing courses .

Why this step as taken. Those people who are serious abut nursing admissions have to wait a lot. This is definitely not a good step as we have to search for other options now. Can anyone give tentative dates of admission procedure? Thanks in advance.

RESPECTED MADAM IT WILL BE VERY DIFFICULT BECAUSE FIRST YEAR STUDENTS TAKE LOTS OF TIME TO ADJUST TO THE COURSE NEXT THIS DIPWALI AND XMAS VACTIONS STUDENTS ARE DISTURBS SO I STRONGLY OPPOSE THIS DECISION AND WE SHOULD SO SERIOUS THAT OUR MNC PRESIDENT SIR ALSO NOT LIKE IT .............

by this changes ., Private institute will not get the admission because most of the student will take admission to another course its impact that the no of admission will be downgrade

the Inc has taken the decision of starting of academic year from first October is non practical and it is a set back for nursing admission in the state and national level also. Because. the gap from passing twelve stand. to starting of nursing course is 4-5 month long period. the students may experience the loss of year, may withdrawal admission. It is suitable for degree course only. Not for diploma courses. The council in its jurisdiction can take decision to keep the academic year from Aug. only. The INC has no authority to direct the council for the same. The MNC must take the decision as per the MNC act 1966 and rules.not follow the others without authority.

Such a long gap after 12th result will definitely affect choices of profession.Soon after joining when students are getting adjusted to new course and fighting with homesickness and studies diwali and christmas vaccation follow.August was best to start with.

Already quality of nursing had gone down. We get low merit students, so quality of nursing will going down & down. So Course should be commenced form August and not in October.

I think it is a great step towards creating uniformity in education , which is so imperative to professional courses due to necessary length of curriculum and to complete all the course work . Also it will help candidates be better prepared with timeliness on getting necessary coursework and documents ready for admission and avoid unnecessary confusion and delays.

This much time is not good and right decision because the students will choice different options rather than Nursing after HSC so it should be the same as MNC dates

Definetly its too much gap. for GNM , science is preferable but we cant get them all because of lot of opportunity after HSC science, even though other stream rank candidates also cant wait.
